Shipping & Returns

We sell and ship only to the United States. Shipping for all orders is a flat rate of $3.99 per order regardless of order size. This is just a way of saying “Thank you” for buying from us at AppalachiaBooks.com, and holds true whether you buy two books or fifty books! Items will be generally be mailed by USPS Media Mail or by USPS First Class Mail, depending on the size and weight. Very valuable or unusual books may be sent by other methods of shipping; but such shipping, if necessary, will not cost extra. Items will be shipped within three (3) business days after the order is received.

Returns

Since this site sells primarily used books that may contain imperfections, we will be glad to to give refunds for books that do not match the description or any errors on our part (e.g. we sent out the wrong book). For problems of this nature, please contact us through the “Contact Us” page with details about the problem for a Return Authorization Number. Please include the title and reason for return.

If you desire to return a book for reasons other than "Items not as described" or mistakes, please contact us through the “Contact Us” page to discuss the problem.
